I’m a candidate for cervical disc replacement/fusion, somehow I got lucky and came across Dr. Uzi, it’s almost a year that I’ve been avoiding surgery with Dr. Uzi’s help. I started treatment with Dr. Uzi on December, suffering from pain, tingling and numbness on my neck, shoulder and right arm, couldn’t sleep well, dealing with pain all day everyday, crippled from activities I love. After few sessions I noticed some improvements, and now almost pain free… almost no episodes of tingling and numbness going down my arm … back to the gym and riding my motorcycle, normal life again. I will continue my maintenance visits for sure and hopefully I would never have to do the surgery. Thank you Dr. Uzi, I really appreciate what you do.

Dr. Uzi is magical. I hurt my back in the same spot that I hurt it 7 years ago and it took me four months to recover from my herniated disc. This was only my 2nd session with him in one week, and I have 90% mobility in my back. I am so surprised by my quick recovery, but at the same time, he took as long as I needed in sessions to feel better and even offered extra time with the acupuncture needles in my back, as well as healing tape. I was very skeptical because his prices were $20 or more over the normal prices, but now that I have almost completely healed my back in 1 week, I am never going anywhere else. I can now walk my dogs with ease this week, and that’s what makes me happy.

I had a frustrating case of athletic pubalgia (sports hernia) that lasted for about eight months before seeing Dr. Chen. Long story short I could not exercise at all -or do much of anything- without pain radiating up the right side of my core and down my right leg. After my Primary Care/ an ultrasound came up empty; he suggested I try alternative medicine. I'm so glad I found Uzi. After probably six treatments with Uzi I was able to start physical therapy. Without Uzi I unsure I could have done any PT. After close to three months of acupuncture and PT I'm back in the gym. Separately, Uzi treated a knot I'd had in my shoulder for almost two decades. After two sessions it literally exploded and released in my neck and down my arm. I woke up the next day actually happy, not in pain, and realized I've had a robot arm for more than 17 years. It's amazing what we tolerate and get used to. When I told him he changed my life his response was, 'You know what's amazing? That was actually just your body responding and healing itself.' Dr. Chen gives a darn, is a true professional and is one of those healers who I suspect I'll see many more times when my body communicates that need. This man will help you.

Last year at this time I was walking in my local Costco parking lot when I was hit by a car. After a few days of awful pain, I turned to Dr. Uzi Chen to find some relief. I followed his regime for at least 3 months when finally my pain disappeared, Would you believe, this year my car was hit - with me in it - and again I suffered horrible pain. Dr. Uzi to the rescue. I hate needles but Dr. Uzi Chen was wonderful!! I was having chronic shoulder problems and Dr. Uzi was able to figure out what was going on and treat my problem. He is one of the most kindest doctors I have experienced. He is extremely knowledgeable and really knows his stuff!!! He is gentle and truly cares about you. If you are dealing with any pain I would highly recommend acupuncture with Dr. Uzi. It works!!

I never thought I would be getting acupuncture. I hate needles, and tend to faint when they pierce my skin. Physical therapy was making my wrist injury worse, so my doctor recommend acupuncture. I was skeptical at first, but I had heard great things about Sean and Uzi, and the clinic was very clean and organized. My experience with SDSA was exceptional. Sean is such a kind and calm person that when I first met him, I was instantly at ease. He is very knowledgeable in his craft, offers reasonable expectations from the start, and has genuine concern for his patients. He started off slowly, let me know before he started or changed anything, and asked for feedback to make sure I was comfortable. And I didn't faint! There's also an alert button he gives you in case you need anything during your treatment. The inflammation in my wrist was down significantly after a few sessions, and my pain has gone from a consistent 7 to 0 after a couple of months treating of my complicated injury. He also successfully treated a random separate issue with leg numbness through acupuncture as well. I highly recommend seeing Sean to anyone! A bonus is his great sense of humor, as well as his musical taste for the sound system of the rooms. I definitely feel calmed when I'm in the clinic, and I'm going to miss coming here for my treatments.

Uzi is the best. He has an uncanny ability to connect with his patients and make them feel comfortable. He's been able to fix several of my running related issues after just a few appointments.
