I have been going to Uzi for treatments every time I have an injury in the past 5 years. Uzi is attentive and caring , he also explain what he is doing and why . Lately I was suffering from inflammation and pain in my knee , so I decided to ask Uzi to treat me again, and after 3 sessions my knee started to heal and today I took my first exercise walk with my wife after 3 months. I was able to do it without pain . This was an amazing feeling to get my knee back , thank you!

Before seeing Uzi I hadn’t been able to sleep lying down in over a month, with constant pain radiating from my neck down through my shoulder and elbow. After my first session with him I was immediately able to lay flat without that intense pain. After each session my recovery continued improving, and he was always very much in tune to where we had left off and what progress had been made. I would highly recommend Uzi to anyone, it was my first encounter with acupuncture and it certainly exceeded my expectations.

Dr. Chen was absolutely incredible. After a surfing accident, I suffered from a strained MCL. Dr. Chen diagnosed my injury methodically and got to work. Prior to the treatment, I could hardly get in the door. Post initial treatment, I was almost running out the door. Dr. Chen got me confidently back on my feet within a few days and back in the water within a few weeks. I would highly recommend this practice and Dr. Uzi Chen to anyone that is looking for acupuncture and an actual healing touch.

You won't find a better doctor to treat your problem. After appointments with 18 different practitioners, Dr Chen found the issue that has been causing me chronic pain for over a year. He's one of a kind that you don't find very often. Extremely knowledgeable in multiple modalities and treats his patients as if they were his own children. He gets 10 stars in my book.

I had the most incredible experience with Uzi. He is very experienced and knowledgeable. I loved how he explained every step of the way with so much patience. When we started the process I couldn’t walk and could barely move and suffered tremendous pain. After only 3 sessions I could finally move again and walk normally. Uzi is like a magician. I highly recommend his treatment.

We’ve been coming to Sean for a couple of years now for my two teenage daughters who are competitive volleyball players. Our experience has been nothing short of awesome. My eldest tore her acl recently. Sean was able to get the swelling down and the leg straight before her operation, which is critical for the best prognosis, way ahead of schedule for someone with that sort of injury. Even the surgeon was surprised by her progress. We also use Sean for general injuries and post workout stiffness. He is friendly, trustworthy, interesting to talk to and dedicated to his craft. Sean helped me tremendously with chronic neck pain which was radiating down my arm and a bad case of chronic tennis elbow on top of it. It was incapacitating, and I had tried several other types of treatment prior to seeing Sean. Thank you. I am very grateful!

I was a coach at a gym where Sean used to train and was aware of his practice. When my back went out on my moving boxes I went to him Immediately. The best part was he was very quickly able to give me a diagnosis of what was wrong and what the next steps were for me to recover. He made it feel better the day of the treatment and I was fully recovered in less then a week.

I took my son here because he had an elbow injury due to baseball. They were to patient and kind to him (he's 13 and was a little nervous). After just a month of aggressive treatment, he is feeling much better and can't wait to start playing baseball again.

Uzi is amazing! I came to him for acupuncture when I was 5 months pregnant with back pain and he got me back to feeling like my best self. After giving birth I had round 2 of back pain, which he is currently helping me kick to the curb. He has been awesome with making my schedule work with his, always making sure I’m comfortable, and most importantly taking all precautions to be clean and sanitary during this crazy pandemic. Had chronic pain on my Achilles tendon for a few years, which was aggravated after doing a PRP treatment. 3 months after the PRP treatment I wanted to give acupuncture a shot. I was shocked at my results after my first treatment(w/electric stim), as it felt about 60% better by the next day. That in itself merited a 5 star review, but I wanted to wait until I got a sense of the long term effects. Over the course of about 10-12 treatments, each treatment reduced the sensitivity and pain. That complimented with some strengthening exercises recommended by Sean, I was able to complete a few back to back 2-3 mile hikes with 30lb backpack(toddler) without any significant discomfort during and afterwards. I'm probably 99%, and although I haven't gone back to full aggressive running activities because of caution, I'm confident I'll get there, and more than happy with what has been achieved thus far. I've also appreciated that Sean does this full time, which provided more flexibility in his schedule, as well as what I imagine is a greater commitment to good service. Also appreciated that you deal with him directly for all matters. No going through a front office. Personally, he is attentive, listens, and responds. Would strongly recommend him based on my personal experience.

I highly recommend Uzi Chen. I have been to a few acupuncturists in my lifetime and I have to say Uzi is the best! I broke my knee cap (patella) in 5 pieces and was having a very hard time with my recovery after surgery. I developed arthrofibrosis (a lot stiffness and scar tissue). Luckily I found Uzi and he has been helping me on my journey back to being able to walk again and function like normal. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, positive and kind. He explains everything that he is doing, he asks questions and he listens. He truly has your best interest at heart, which I very much appreciate. He has helped me regain quad strength (I did my first straight leg lift in his office!), range of motion, and less stiffness in my knee. Thank you Uzi!!!

As a very "right brained" math/science person, I'm always skeptical about things like acupuncture and needling; however, I figured at this point it was worth a shot due to how much pain I was in (other treatments such as the chiropractor, yoga and massage didn't help). Prior to going to see Dr. Uzi Chen, my lower back was so bad I'd have to brace myself and awkwardly twist to pick up my shoes or throw out a bag of garbage. Also, my shoulder was so locked up I couldn't sit behind a desk or work without constant pain. Dr. Chen took the time to evaluate what he thought would be beneficial for me, and absolutely went above and beyond - if he felt I needed a bit more treatment that day, he'd continue working with me well past my time slot at no extra charge. He discovered my shoulder pain was referred pain from tightness in my neck, and helped reduce the stress and tension in my lower back. This has been literally life altering for me. I can now bend down without pain and work for hours without issue. I absolutely recommend him as an acupuncturist and encourage anyone with muscular issues to set up an appointment with him. Simply put, Dr. Chen is phenomenal.
